Our library day is on Tuesday, please send back books on Mondays so your child can choose a new book. Yesterday we went to science lab and I wish I would have remembered my camera. Ask your child what raisins do when you put them in soda.

Our First Week
We survived our first week in 2nd grade! We have been learning the routines and getting organized. I will begin assessing this week so we can begin getting to work. On Friday, we wrote quotes about what reading is. They did a great job and came up with some very creative ones. I was very impressed. If you get a chance come by our hallway and take a look. They are hanging outside our room along with your child's precious picture.

Our First Day of School
We had a great first day in 2nd grade! We learned lots of routines, sorted supplies, did some reading and writing, had Spanish class and PE. It was a full day. This year is sure to be a success!
